OUR STORY
Orchard began with a simple observation: organisations supporting vulnerable people were often being
asked to work around their case management systems, rather than having systems that worked around
them.
Too much time was being spent on administration, information wasn't always easy to access or use, and
many organisations were paying for complex systems that still didn't reflect the way their services actually
worked. Some organisations were moving to less secure methods to supplement their CMS, paper based
forms and tracker spreadsheets
Orchard was created to offer a different approach. Shaped by practitioners, managers and service leaders,
the platform has evolved around the realities of frontline delivery — and continues to develop through the
organisations that use it.
